Cathy after High School

Cathy started Cabrillo College after she finished high school. while she was there she met Mike Masloski from Omaha, Nebraska. He was a friend of Carol Booth's boyfriend. They started going together. We didn't care for him much. One night she came in and told us that they had gotten married. Mike and Cathy moved into a motel downtown in Santa Cruz. We had a little reception for them. Mike quit school and so did Cathy. Mike tried to find a job and couldn't He decided to cut wood and thought he needed a big truck. They sold Cathy's little Mercury Capri and got him a big old truck. He still couldn't make a living, so they moved back to Omaha, Nebraska. Finally his folks, LeRoy and Milly Masloski, bought them a little house. Cathy had a baby girl named Lisa in October. Later she had a little boy named Michael. LeRoy was so nice to her. Mike drank a lot and was mean to her. Once he dragged her through the house by the hair. She called me up and said she wanted to come home. I sent Kaye to Omaha on the next plane to bring Cathy and the kids home, Mike couldn't believe that a Mormon girl would get a divorce.

After Cathy came back she lived with us for a while. She started to work for me while Kaye tended the kids. Later I bought a house for her to live in Santa Cruz at 101 Baymount. She put the kids in day care. Cathy was a good worker.

While Cathy was working at my office, she met Greg Hunter, an old patient of mine. She married him. They had their wedding at our house. It was small with our and his family and a few friends. Then he moved into Cathy's house with his old truck, old red dog, and a motorcycle. He worked for the local water company. Later they had Ryan, Dustin and Ian. In 1990, they moved to Medford Oregon. They bought a home on Hawaiian Avenue. At first the rented in Ashland. Later Cathy started to work in a craft store near Talent. She divorced Greg Hunter and started to live with Marvin Nicholson. Cathy and Marvin live in a house on Delta Waters in Medford.
