Sis and Laurence moved back to Utah. He had been a manager of Sugar Mills in South Dakota, Moses Lake, Washington and Vancouver, Washington. We visited them in Moses Lake and Tremonton, Utah.
It was during the time that they lived in Utah that Laurence left Sis for another woman. It was a terrible time for Sis. after her divorce, she moved to California to be by her daughter and we also lived there.
The summer after that our family took Sis with us to Hawaii. Our youngest son, Brad, kept teasing Sis that he was going to find her a rich new husband on this trip. He was so cute with her. He died a year or so later from cancer.
Laurence ended up marrying the person he left Sis for. In the end he got alsheimers. She kept him in a shed by their house. When he died she had him buried before she even notified Sis and the kids. What a sad, yet fitting end for Laurence.
