Onions
I worked for Sharon Lunt's dad on his farm hauling sacks of onions out of his field to their sorting sheds. Then they sorted the onions by size, etc. and put them in 50 pound sacks which they sewed up when they were filled. Then I loaded these 50 pound bags into semi trucks. I got paid .50cents per hour for this work.
Texas Service Station
My dad and Laurence bought a Texaco Service Station in Duncan, Arizona. I worked there from the time I was about 14 until I graduated high school.
